I just got #10 today. While the cliffhangers were letdowns (aren't they usually), this issue was probably the most thought-provoking of them all and gave us significant growth of the Lone Ranger's true character. His confrontation with Rafael and his conversations with Tonto, Linda and the sheriff show him to be a real man of justice. His determination not to kill is strengthened. He turns Rafael over knowing that he will die for his crimes. That is much like the Lone Ranger we know, love and respect.
It's also good to see that Winthrop has resurfaced in the story, this time not the meek punching bag he's been in the past.
Now we're finally going to see Cavendish in Texas. Does this mean we'll get the long awaited showdown?

Sounds like another fine issue. I still haven't made the trip to pick up my copy yet (hopefully this weekend). I'm looking forward to reading it for myself.

So Mikey, did you get it? What did you think?

Got it. Loved it. I've read a lot of nit-picking about the "reality" of this issue and the Ranger's seemingly super-human healing abilities, but I see no reason for such arguments. Was my comic enjoyable, exciting, and entertaining? Yes. Did it leave me wanting more? Yes. Job well done, as usual. We see more of the true Lone Ranger starting to shine through. Justice by law. Rafael killed a man, and he needs to stand trial for it, even if it might mean the death penalty. The Lone Ranger has sent dozens of criminals to the gallows, but each received a fair trial and their punishments were handed out according to the law. And he makes sure to do his homework on the sheriff, to be sure he is a fair and just lawman before turning over his prisoner. That's our Ranger. Leaving a silver bullet so the sheriff will know who he is. Yep, that's him. All we needed was a "Hi-yo, Silver!" at the end. Great wrap-up to the second story-arc.
