For some series, big sales does not necessarily represent quality of work, but more total over paper pushing mediocrity, where some buy the issues like drones to see what other stupid stuff some can come up next, I call those trolling cheap shock value gimmickry; but in the case of Project Superpowers, the sales results totally rely on high quality work and those cool golden age characters that were way so overdue for comic book action again, and maybe even film action. And considering that Dynamite is a relatively a much smaller publisher compare to DC and Marvel which they have huge promotional budgets to over promote to death in the most hammering annoying trolling possible way even their most ridiculous work, I would say that in reality if all had equal means, that Project Superpowers would have easily reached #1 spot leaving all competitors' trash way behind, and for what it's worth, coming from a genuine comic book fan looking all around stuff from all publishers, I personally think 2 months consecutive with issue #0 and issue #1, that the Project Superpowers is the best series out there presently, and nothing else even come close
