There is always a chance for a Project Superpowers action figure line in the future, if this happened who would be in your first wave? Here would be my series 1 Project Superpowers action figure collection.
Black Terror - Cloth cape and pirate sword. He would have an arm swinging mechenism.
Death Defying Devil - he would come with his boomarange and an action mechenism that would throw the boomarangs.
The Claw - He would have a cloth robe and glowing eyes with claw swiping action.
The Flame - He would have a cloth cape and come with his flame gun. He would have a punching action mechenism.
I would limit the first run to only these 4 figures to see how well they sell and to get feedback on future series. Wave 2 would be bigger.

I'd change out the Flame for Masquerade (A female figure) or Fighting Yank (he started it all).
Another thread had pixs of a custome Black Terror and Green Lama figures.

Well, the reason why I left them out of series 1 is because I didn't want the first wave to have all the heavy hitters, I want to spread them out over the course of the collection to build interest and to give people a reason to visit future waves. Lama, Masquerade and Yank would all get figures too, just later on :)

Here is my fantasy wave 2 in the series....
Green Lama - With a cloth cape and some plant life. He would have a punching mechanism.
American Spirit - He would have a cloth cloak and a button on his back to make his eyes glow.
Fighting Yank - He would have a cloth cape and would come with the urn. He would have a punching mechanism.
Hydro Man - He would have a tube hanging out of his back you could put in a glass of water and a button would make his hand squirt water. Or he would have a small tank in his back toy could put water in. Other arm would have a punching mechenism.
Dynamic Man - Cloth jacket with punching mechenism. He would have a variant with a hole in his stomach from where Terror hit him.

i'm with you guys about the ACTION FIGURES.!!
i WOULD like to see,-- if I had MY way, I would like to see the Four Horsemen from Mattel do the figures. And have Mattel produce them.
Wave One:
1) The Black Terror ....
2) Tim
3) 'Devil(with a boomerang or two)
4) Masquerade
and maybe 5) Super-American
And a Collect & Connect... large figure: The Claw
would ALL be fine with me!!
I agree with whatever you guys want... as long as we could get these Golden Age Characters as GOOD QUALITY, WELL-ARTICULATED, WELL MADE, ACTION FIGURES. (but like I said, I would really like them from the 4 Horsemen/Mattel 6" scale, DCUC compatible, action figures. If they aren't that good... I know I'll be a bit unhappy with them.)

Articulation, character likeness, paint detail and accssessories are important to every figure line, so those would have to be a major focus. Packaging is also key when dealing with the collector crowd such as myself, you gotta have a sturdy, well designed backing card with a great visuals!

Personally, I'd prefer those 12-inch tall, fully positionable figures like Marvel often makes of their characters. I'd suggest the following;
"Season 1"
Fighting Yank
Green Lama
Death Defying 'Devil
Masquerade
Black Terror
So we've got the first two characters that you "meet", plus those that get their own comic series.
"Season 2"
Bruce Carter III - Yank without his costume, more like what he wore in issue #0. Would come with "American Spirit" accessory.
The Flame
Hydro - Possible with some limbs replaced with resin as to imitate the water effect?
The Targeteers - Special Set, three figures, one box.
Dynamic Man - Current, evil costume. Later series would include his old, Golden Age costume.
"Season 3"
Pyroman
V-Man - Detectable, "virus"-head?
Samson
The Scarab
The Arrow
"Season 4" - AKA "The Army-Building Season!"
Police Corps
American Crusader - Mercenary version, golden age version would come later.
F-Trooper
Also, a "Collect and Connect" figure like the Marvel Legends line could have The Claw as one, and someone like Phantasmos or the Boy King's Giant would be the bigger figure in the later series.

12 inch figures would be cool, but expensive and they would be pushed more toward collectors than kids and sales may not be so high. Also as I mentioned before, adding all the heavy hitters in the first series would not give fans a huge reason to visit future series.
I love the build a figure idea, that would be the reason why people would buy figures of lesser heroes so they can complete the build a figure!

Who is in what wave/season depends on when it's released. If it is released this month Fighting Ynak and Black Terror should be in the first wave. Yank won't be around and Terror will have a new series out. In a couple of months Triple D and Masquerade will have their series out and Terror's will be ending.
I wonder if something couldn't be done similar the the Marvel and soon DC figurines that are coming out. You get a mini statue and a booklet with info about the character. Maybe they could do a action figure with a mini comic either a secret files type or reprinting the origin or first app. of the character.

Action figures that come with comic books are cool ideas, as long as the price does not get to high per figure. Kids as well as adult collectors will be buying them and if the figure is expensive then parents would probably choose to buy their kids cheaper figures of more established heroes like Superman or Batman.
All in all, if PS continues to sell well and the solo series take off then we could be looking at a slew of PS merchendise in the future, figures included!!
