Looks great but I doubt I'll get a chance at the Romita cover. It lookes cool, maybe a little to 'distressed', but cool.

yea, that Romita cover looks great!! I wished they could have had Romita draw the first issue. He had such a "classic" style.
Kirby! Ditko! Romita! early '60's Infantino! Kane! John Buscema!... It's a bit painful to contemplate the loss.
Well, maybe Mr. Casey will give us some great stories of The Death-Defying 'Devil.!!
I still like Alex Ross' contributions to this line. The covers, the character sketches! He's still "making it" for me.

I like the classic looking covers as well, but I wouldn't want the interior to look old, that would turn off casual modern day readers and in order for PS to survive it is going to need those readers.
Alex Ross is awesome to help bring this all to fruition, this line has really made me happy in the fact that it's new, fresh and exciting!
Both this series & the Black Terror series look great. I am looking forward to these two series more than the regular SP series. I enjoy solo books more than team books.

I may be wrong, but I think that Daredevil is going to be to Dynamite what Spiderman is to Marvel.

Thanks, MadMikeyD.
Nice to get Edgar Salazar's take on this.
We get to see two additional pages from Death-Defying Devil #1 ... in Wizard
#207Gold, January, 2009.... today. (11/26/08)
The Green Lama talking to DDD ... and Salazar's work looks "very good."
The more I see of his work the better I feel about it.
We also get to see the first indication of an organization .... of The Claw.!!
(... "plenty of unfinished business still left to be dealt with.")
Casey seems to have some good pacing... and I'm really looking forward to issue #1.
I think I'm going to like this book, alot!
We still don't know who the guy is watching T.V. ... (darn it!)...but Salazar is starting to impress me.

I agree. DDD is going to be the breakout character of this universe.
