New Movie Trailer

Ok, who's seen it? I thought it looked very exciting. Saw some things I wouldn't have expected to see in the first movie, but movies aren't books. Thoughts? I saw it on You Tube.

1. Barsoom not RED enough
2. Red men and women not red enough [like this: :mad:] (couldn't tell them apart from JC -- at the very LEAST they should look painfully sunburned by Earth standards)
3. Tharks not savage-looking enough, too skinny and too short (ERB says 15-feet, here they're slightly over half that tall)
4. everyone wears too damn many clothes (I don't expect to see genitalia, but bikinis and jockstraps and lots of leather and metal ornamentation)
5. the CGI creatures were mostly cool looking

First honest impressions. I've loved Barsoom for so long, I don't think any movie could live up to my expectations.

I liked it . . .. I dont see why there can be complaints

also barsoom was only red from a distance in the books, it was covered in yellow moss

shows how much you care for ERB's vision!

In thuvia maid of mars, the sky is described as an azure color, and in the first book the red martians are described as having reddish copper skin!

In other words, fans are complaining about the accuracies because they didn't pay attention when reading!
