I know that this title has had issues solicited up through #10, but that last issue was originally solicited with a ship date of Sept. 26, 2012. I got a little nervous when I saw the tag line "TO BE CONCLUDED..." at the end of FG:Z #6. Please tell me the series isn't ending....!

FG:Z and The Spider are tied as my favorite Dynamite series. Please don't let it end?

The "To be concluded" is just referring to the opening story arc. Whatever's been solicited is still going to be on the horizon, fret ye not.

Whew! That's a relief. Thanks, Simon. Well, you can understand that Flash Gordon readers are used to seeing the words "TO BE CONTINUED". Nothing is ever really "concluded" until it ends. I hope this version of Flash Gordon doesn't end for a good long time! It's been far too long before this since we've seen Flash and his friends starring in NEW stories.

Now if only we could get some NEW Phantom and Mandrake the Magician stories from DE!

I still can't get over just how tight the art in this series is, its some of my favorite art in all of comics at this point in time. Just look at the 2nd and 3rd pages where Flash is being tackled, its absolutely amazing as is the page where we see Dale Arden in her new get up, just amazing. The story has been grand scale too and this is one of DE's most underrated books bar none.

The lion dude and Gordon fighting was great, the writing was awesome, the art was perfect, and this book is the most underrated comic book on stands without a doubt. All I can say is thank you dynamite for this title, its truly amazing and full of everything that makes a comic good.

"The lion dude" = Prince Thun. (It is a statistical fact that Mongo has the highest per capita percentage of princes, princessess, kings, and queens of all the known planets. The average size of a kingdom is about the size of an 18-hole golf course on Earth.)

They do seem to have a suboptimal royal:subject ratio, yeah.

This book is indeed underrated. I love the characters, set/costume designs, vehicles, props, plot...it's phenomenal! Alex Ross' art direction is amazing on both this title and MERCILESS. Dynamite has got a solid winner with their Flash Gordon license.

Underrated isn't even the word, it's more like brutally ignored. Im bummed because i absolutely LOVE Flash Gordon: Zeitgist, but I feel like hardly anyone is reading it :(

It's so damn amazing, and the interior art is probably my favorite in comics ATM.

probably my favorite in comics ATM.

You know, there really should be comics ATMs. Insert your plastic card, punch in your PIN, and it dispenses comics like an automatic card shuffler. :)

So tell people. :)

Mention it on message boards, or on Twitter, or whatever. More importantly, show it to your retailer and explain to him or her why you think it's a good book and why other customers might enjoy it.

Every little bit helps.

Glad you're enjoying it. :)
