And now coming up with Red Sonja Annual... how many more "side arcs" are there planned?

One thing I reaaaaaalllly hated about (for example) Spiderman was the sheer amount of unrelated side arc spin off stories.

Of Course its Red Sonja so I dont mind... heck I'd be glad to have my Red Sonja fix on a weekly basis. But am still curious on how many of those ar planned.

You know what would really suck? If That Annual Red would be a 2 parter LOL

As far as I know, alot of comics have little mini-series' and one-shots going on the side for alot of their publishing run. The trend so far has been to have something like this going on almost a continuous basis for Sonja. My gut feeling is that this won't change anytime soon. Me personally, I'm lovin' it! I love Mel Rubi's work on the series, and I'm enjoying seeing other artist have a crack at the character in these side-arcs, either on covers or on the pages in between. Although, I must say I'm really not a fan of Pablo Marcos's work, and don't believe he was the right choice for "Monster Island". I'd still love to see J. Scott Campbell, Frank Cho, Al Rio, or Roger Cruz doing some Sonja comics!! :D

Oh I'm not complaining about it :D As I said, having my Fix of Red would be great on a weekly basis.

As for artists taking on side arcs... I'd vote J.S.Campbell or Humberto Ramos... oh TONY DANIEL :D Heck where's Joe Madureira? :D

Please don't make the annual a two-parter...I have already suffered enough with these long wait times between issue with Bendis' Secret War. :D

As for the proliferation of Sonja titles...

I guess its okay. But it is a bit weary on the bank account.
