Original VS Already created

I'm thinking about redoing my Red Sonja costume (debuted at San Diego ComicCon 2006) and I'm debating whether I should create my own original design for her (seeing as how almost every artist does her outfit differently) or should I go with one of the designs that were already created?

What do you think?

I think some more pictures of the one you have might help, as we can only see a small part of it. Not that there is a whole lot more to see, I understand. But some additional angles would give a better idea of what you already have.
