So this should be real interesting!
Wish they had snagged the rights to do companion books of Hammett’s nameless Continental Op, and Kurosawa’s Yojimbo to go along with it, all at the same time.
    I’d read all three!

It could literally even be the same story in each, ovecourse each one set in their appropriate time and setting accordingly.
Just to compare how all three creative team and editors handle their appropriate genres: Samurai, Western and hard-boiled Detective.
Damn the more I think of it, I wish they would just do it.

Here is the announcement on Newsarama, and an interview with Christos Gage, who will be writing "The Man With No Name."

    The Man With No Name

Starting as early as November/December? That's awesome - now let's get moving on Zorro!

    DAMN!

I already have too many comics in my shelf though I'll have to just buy the trades

edit: you know, the three movies weren't the same continuity. Even though he is the man with no name in each movie, they're all part of a different continuity.

I figured you'd know that, Tommy ;D I don't think anyone can slip a western fact past you! lol (meant that in a good way)

Hey since you do like westerns, I don't know if you get the Hallmark Channel in Australia, but Kevin Sorbo just did a show that premiered here this week. made for tv movie: "Avenging Angel"

Some Sorbo fans love it, I don't know if it's any good, gonna see it later on this week on the repeat But thought to drop you a line incase you can find it somewhere.

A dramatized movie is also coming out this next year about the real life massacre Brigham Young (sp?) ordered during his push into Utah. I don't think there's any way around the political uproar that movie is gonna cause.

Heh heh! Actually, there's a helluva lot which would fly past me - it's just that those three movies happen to be some of my all-time favourites, and that one little fact was one I actually knew!

We do get the Hallmark Channel here, but I don't have Foxtel (cable TV)...
