News from the coalface, guys! Into it!

JUNGLE GIRL SEASON ONE COMES TO AN EXPLOSIVE CONCLUSION!
From Dynamite and Frank Cho, the Ultimate Jungle Adventure!

    November 23, 2007, Runnemede, NJ
    - DYNAMITE ENTERTAINMENT today released images and information announcing Jungle Girl #5, the final chapter of Dynamite's first series of Jungle Girl adventures! Co-Plotted and overseen by Frank Cho, scripted by Doug Murray and crafted by artist Adriano Batista and Frank Martin, Jungle Girl has become the Dynamite series of 2007! And as an extra added bonus, Dynamite is showing preview pages to Jungle Girl #3, in stores this Wednesday, November 28th.

In January, Dynamite's first series of Jungle Girl adventures comes to a smashing conclusion with a closing that is going to be talked about for years to come! More secrets of the island and its cast-aways are revealed as it all counts down to the end, or is it?

Jungle Girl Writer, Doug Murray elaborated on the mind-blowing ending and hints at the future of Jana and her mysterious island, "The 5th issue of Jungle Girl is the last of the first story cycle. I want to do more then make this a half-naked girl fighting dinosaurs story--the plan is to show more civilizations and odd life forms, all of whom live in this odd place that Jana calls home. To do this, we're going to move her around a bit--get her out of her 'home' jungle--and fighting something other then Dinosaurs and Cro-Magnons--and we're going to start doing that with the very last panel of issue #5--a panel that I think (and hope) will surprise our readers. The first, I hope, of many such surprises."

Jungle Girl co-plotter and cover artist Frank Cho described the surprise ending in a way that should have every comic fan on the edge of their seat, "CATFIGHT!!!!"

Each and every beautiful page of Jungle Girl is provided by series artist Adriano Batista (along with the beautiful colors of Frank Martin!)! Issue #5 will be available with two exciting covers, one by Mr. Jungle Girl himself, Frank Cho and the variant chase cover by Batista!

JUNGLE GIRL #5 (OF 5) (NOV073474) Writer: Frank Cho (Plot, Art Direction), Doug Murray (Script); Penciller: Adriano Batista; Colorist: Frank Martin; Covers: Frank Cho (75%) and Adriano Batista (25%)

The cover shown above is indeed for Jungle Girl issue #3, hence the large "3" in the bottom right-hand corner of the pic.

I think he's asking because the message that you posted is touting issue #5's cover and interior art.
