Your favorite image of Sonja?

I got to reading Vacant Shell and the story was okay, nothing we haven't seen before in any other zombie-esque comic, but the art really got me hooked, I haven't seen this style before (not that I can remember). This issue has some of my favorite Sonja head-shots:



And these are just plain cool:




Sonja's hair is exquisite throughout this entire comic. It's lush and lively and luxurious and lots of other L-words, just lovely. I hope this book's team does work on a lot more Sonja books!

i agree. the hair is a lot of who she is, so i really like it when they show it off. sometimes it seems almost uniform, moreso in the new comics then ever.

In recent memory, Marc Silvestri's cover to Red Sonja #4 is probably my favorite... and that new statue is just too cool not to own...

Me, I'm loving the SWORD OF RED SONJA: DOOM OF THE GODS #4 cover by Lopresti -- and solely from seeing it here! I haven't received the actual comic yet. I'd also love to see the Lopresti piece offered as a wallpaper by Dynamite (see my wallpaper post!)

Also love the Frank Cho/Sonja cover. Absolutely.
