Default Lone Ranger #12 in August

The Lone Ranger returns in August with #12. Here's a look at the fantastic Cassaday cover.

Not bad, not bad at all. I still don't think any of the covers are better than #0, but this is enjoyable.

Red face I started thinking (never a good thing)

I started wondering if Clayton Moore wore a dual holster rig or two single as pictured on the cover. So I pulled out a couple of my B&W photos (that's right old time 8x10 glossies)

Clayton wore a dual holster rig. But the 'new Ranger' does have the shirt from the TV show and, even though he wears it as a standard Kerchief, the ascott as well. I do like the addition of the duster.

I think the duster is way cool also...

One of the (very few) things I liked in the 1981 Klinton whateverhisnamewas version of the Lone Ranger was how he wore his gun belt. It's the same as this cover. I like it better than Clayton Moore's belt.

And as for the 1981 movie, the fight at the end was pretty cool also!

    Default No flap

nice to see the flaps gone on his gun belts. That is one awesome image almost worth the long wait. Should be a poster.

In the calander it's listed for next week. Their usually accurate once it's in the calender so it looks good.
