    Question Snake Plissken

Since Dynamite is all about liscensed characters, how about adding another one? Snake Plissken. Yes, the Snake Plissken character portrayed by Kurt Russell in the Escape From New York & LA movies. The character has been done in the past - once my Marvel Comics & more recently by Huricane Entertainment. Hurricane's 4 issue limited series a few years back was excellent! If you haven't read it, track them down! I thoroughly enjoy Dynamite's Red Sonja and Painkiller Jane series (in spite of their continued & unexplained tardiness) and am looking forward to the upcoming Lone Ranger series. How about adding another liscensed character to your stable?

This is a damn good idea! Provided the art was good, I'd definitely be interested! I love "Escape from New York", but I never saw "Escape from L.A.". Any good?

L.A. was bad! The story was ok, but it's when they first started using CGI in movies - and it shows. A few years back they repackaged the New York dvd with in a 2 disc set w/ a comic (Hurricane Entertainment) that reprinted #1 which was a brand new story. Anyeway, if you enjoyed NY, go ahead & rent LA. It's worth a rental, but not a buy unless you're a BIG Snake fan.

Wasn't there like a "Return to Cleveland" or something that was mentioned in the second movie? They could do a maxi series detailing that adventure. Plus, I wouldn't mind seeing graphic adaptations of the two screenplays as well. Not to mention if Dynamite could get the rights to put the 2003 mini back in print as a trade.

This sounds the most exciting of the proposed adaptations mooted on the forum for me. Be great if this saw the light of day.

I'd buy it. Heck, I'm starting to buy ANY Dynamite title.
