Default Project Superpowers Hardcover Is Out

Project Superpowers Hardcover volume 1 is finally out; couldn't ask for a better Christmas gift; and for those that wonder, the paper quality is better than DC's hardcovers, and very similar to the better paper thickness that Marvel and other publishers are using

My #1 recommendation of 2008, Project Superpowers

With this hardcover edition in my hands, I know a couple of kids that are going to love my Project Superpowers seperate issues during the holidays

It all checks out, in my hardcover edition, not a single page of the story is missing or misplaced; as for all the bonus material, so much was made, but it all seems to be there too, all printed on very decent paper thickness quality, and a surprisingly excellent folded page sections book assembly, a volume no one will ever complaint about its quality

Also Project Superpowers ½ is out, and I hope all those bonus issues, along with the Free Comic Book Day issue will be collected together in the next Project Superpowers Hardcover, volume 2. Also in this half issue, previews od Black Terror, and as I like to call him the true best Daredevil, DDD, The Death Defying Devil, also black &whites of the upcoming series Masquerade

I picked up the book yesterday...not much new but nice layout.

Lots of characters in this Superpowers Universe and they get full page spreads that show them off nicely.

While the dust cover shows DDD, the inside cover shows the cover art of book 1 ....the two page front cover back cover spread, looks and feels terrific and was a surprise as inside covers usually show the logo on plain cover...

It probably displays better without the dustjacket.

Some upcoming cover art for Masquerade and Black Terror we have already seen. As well as some DDD artwork.

29.99 USD....and may local comic shops forgive me but the economy is bad, Christmas is coming so I gotta tell you that Amazon has it for 19.79, of course there are shipping costs but you can get around that...

The trade paperback has a February 2009 release date.

    yes, good question. Mikey?? Anybody??

Also,... I had the hardcover in my hands today.
There are some new characters added to the Character sketches pages.

"Martan the Marvel Man and Vana" ...being, at least, two of the "new" characters we haven't seen before.

    Looked really great.

I picked it up last night, it's pretty cool but does not offer anything really new or jaw dropping, it just serves it's purpose of being a way for trade paperback buyers to read and understand PS and for DE to get their stuff into major book retailers, which is important.

I saw this, it was cool to see a few new sketches, but I was hoping for maybe some raw material that didn't make the final cut or some alternate scripts or something. I was happy though and re-read PSv1 this morning...
