Default I got a brief look

It has Character sheets for the Targeteers and Hydro. What were the two page multi character shots ate now on one page. It was on hold for a customer so I really couldn't get a long look but it looks real nice.

Stopped by my LCS to pick up another PS Tbp for a friend for Christmas (I've purchased 3 hard cover PS books now LOL) and the guy I know who works there said all 15 PS tbps he ordered have sold out and the ones he had there today came in this morning via FedEx as a rush order, he said he ordered 10 more. Thats good news....

Thumbs up The great Hardcover Project: SuperPowers

The hardcover is a very nice looking package.
Some new drawings by Alex... and a very NICE PROJECT SUPERPOWERS PACKGAGE!!

    And...
I want to throw this in.
I'm glad... especially glad... that some of these guys "made it"!!

Some of these heroes have such "great looks".

I've ALWAYS liked SKY WIZARD...I always wanted to see him back in action.
I think he has such a "neat" costume.

The same with SPARKMAN...it's just so fun to see these great-looking Golden Age heroes "return".
I'm looking forward to seeing them get into "ACTION".

THE GOLDEN AGE CHARACTER REFERENCE section was almost worth the price of book, in itself. (For me.!!)
Just to see all these great heroes... and know they all have a real chance of returning to our (comic) reality.

For me, it's great to see THE BIG SHOTS (Skyman, Mr. Face, and Marvelo) standing next to each other... and it ignites the hope that we'll see them teamed-up together ... in the not too distant future.

On the next page... we see Lash Lightning, Lightning Girl, Mr. Raven, Unknown Soldier, and The Sword (and really, The Flag who made it onto a cover with these "Four Favorite" heroes)... all standing together...fanning the hope that I'll see them all together... hopefully, as a SUPER-MYSTERYMEN team ...and hopefully, in a book of their own.

(It's difficult to keep fans happy... I wished that Green Lama wasn't on the page with them. I wished they would have switched Green Lama with Captain Courageous on the above page. THEN, ALMOST ALL of the SUPER-MYSTERMEN would have appeared standing together. [Except, of course, MAGNO and DAVEY and VULCAN.] That would have been even more PERFECT.!!
    FANS!!

Default The return of the BIG 3!!

Also, ... on one page (p. 238) ...are the BIG 3 HEROES!!

    1) THE FLAME
    FLAME GIRL
    2) "BIG BLUE" (BLUE BEETLE)
    SPARKY
    3) SAMSON
    DAVID
    V-MAN & THE V-BOYS...

I would "love" to see ALL these heroes together in a BIG 3 BOOK.

To me, it's really fun to see them ALL together ... and just fun to think about... dream about ... the possibilities.

On the next page: I've always liked GRIM REAPER!! Not sure why... but I do like him... and good to see him there.
BLACK VENUS... LOOKS like an interesting character. Hope we see her soon.

I was never wild about The HOOD... but do like Rocketman and Rocketgirl.

One the next page: THE CLAW.!! (I was always a big fan of that monster. [Good villains are hard to find.!!]..so it's fun to see him.)

On the next page: Golden Boy was always a favorite of mine.
Radior... I'm not familiar with, at all.

On p.242... The Black Owl... who Jack Kirby drew at one time, makes him a "favorite"!!

Then, there's SPARKMAN... STILL LOOKING GREAT!!
And "Doc" (Strange)!! Liked him ...and his hair!!

    And, on that last page...p.243...
    That "great-looking" SKY WIZARD...
I kindof liked Wonderman, too. Some of the others on that page... I'm not too familiar with.

Others like VULCAN... I think he's part of The SUPER-MYSTERY MEN!!...I haven't seen "in action."

For me, there are other "favorites" like:
BLUE BOLT... a Simon & Kirby character that's great to see "back".
U.S. JONES... great to see return.

And then... there's The Death-Defying 'DEVIL, BLACK TERROR & TIM, PYROMAN, GREEN LAMA,... AND a few of the others.

    Thumbs up Nice hardcover

I also want to point out that the Alex Ross covers are reprinted in the book without the Titles and lettering on them.
    They REALLY look nice.
It's a nice package... of PROJECT: SUPERPOWERS!!

Other Ross' pictures of the P:SP that we haven't seen before are also included.
The book cover is of P:SP ....#0. So, even if or when your dust jacket goes bad... the book can still be beautifully displayed.

We all know CaptainZero does, but does anyone sit there and analyze and hope and dream about the future of the PS universe and what it will be like 2, 5, 10 years from now? I've found myself doing this lately...

Good,... I'm glad I'm not alone in this endeavor, comix!!
    Fun... isn't it!!??!!
Half the fun of comics ... is the creative stuff that can go on in your head... that never sees print.

The ..."what if..." kind of stuff that may NEVER happen. Like the Maltese Falcon... "it's what dreams are made of."

    Thumbs up The Book!!

Basically, the hardcover reprints the PROJECT SUPERPOWERS: Chapter One.
Collecting issues 0-7 of Project Superpowers.

There's an introduction by Nick Barrucci, President, Dynamite Entertainment.
    Covers.. and story.

Then, there's "A Note on The Fighting Yank".

Then, Project SuperPowers Bonus Materials: with Alternate Covers and
Fighting Yank's War Journal pages by Alex Ross.

232-243-- Golden Age Character References by Alex Ross with Inlight Studio

244-256-- Sketches, Designs, and Concept Art

257-264-- The Future of Project Superpowers.

Just a very nice looking Project Superpowers "package"!!

If you love the return of the Golden Age Heroes like I do... it's well worth having.
Like I've said before... just the Golden Age Character References by Alex is almost worth the price of the book itself,... for me!
