    Looks like they aren't going to be a short retelling but a monatage of sorts that gives you an idea of the origin.

    That Jim Lee variant cover looks epic, it's as iconic as I have ever seen these characters illustrated.......

    I like it. In 52 DC took a sligthly different tack, focusing less on origin and more on key themes for each character and I felt it worked well. To me this kind of approach taken by DE is different again but displays key elements of the character intelligently - such as the feel of the mysterious through hiding the facial features of the character throughout, for example.

    So they are going with the second origin? Personally, I always preferred the original origin, but that's just me.
