The Phantom.
I'd like to see you pick up The Phantom by Lee Falk.
No, not that Last Phantom guy, the real Phantom, as created by Lee Falk.
I'd like to see what you can do with The Phantom, not a "Tangent Comics" version.
Riddick . . . because that would be just plain awesome!
The Phantom
Mandrake
Green Hornet
Zorro
The Shadow
It seems all the characters I really care about are already here!
If I had to pick someone who would "fit" with the kind of comics I like from Dynamite maybe the Rocketeer. Ideally I would like to see dynamite do fewer licenses/characters and focus on the ones I like (mentioned above, also project superpowers) though I imagine that would leave other people missing their favorite series.
and moonstone was publishing new phantom stories when Dynamite picked up that character. . .
In terms of market share, IDW > DE > Moonstone. And to be honest, IDW's doing a great job on the character; I'm not sure I'd want to see the property switch publishers even if DE desperately wanted to claim it. I'm not even convinced that DE's done anything to improve the quality of Phantom stories -- on balance, I'd have to say Moonstone's Phantom was better, even if DE's Last Phantom has got awesome Alex Ross covers.

Still, I would like to see dynamite take on the character if for no other reason than it would allow for a crossover with Green Hornet, Phantom, Mandrake, Shadow etc. (all the characters I like that are not included in Dynamites current big crossover)
After some thought (and after browsing the Dynamite series I don't read) I also think it would be cool if they brought back "Bionic Six". They already do Bionic Man and Bionic Woman so I could see them doing a Bionic Six comic that takes what was great about the 80s cartoon (group of cyborgs fighting bad guys) and modernize it and make it more serious.
Yeah, you and I would be the only two people who would buy it. This doesn't exactly have the recognition level of a G. I. Joe, Transformers, Voltron, or even Defenders of the Earth. BTW, Bionic Six had nothing to do with Steve Austin, Jaime Sommers, Oscar Goldman, etc. other than nicking the buzzword "bionic". For that matter, DE could publish a comic book based on the videogame "Bionic Commando" which would probably be more recognizable to people today.
Wow, I always thought it was based on "Bionic Man" or "Bionic Woman" in the same way that so many 70s and early 80s toons were based on popular live action shows or films (from Star Trek to Rambo).
