DC's got a slew of them: Doctor Fate, Zatara, Zatanna, Madame Xanadu (don't know if reading Tarot can be considered spellcasting), John Constantine, etc.

Yeah I've already got most of the one you emntioned and more. I'm mainly a DC guy so Marvel is not my strong suit. I know Dr. Strange and a couple of his foes and a few others. That's why I was looking for help with Marvel.

Well, Marvel's got a slew of mystical characters as well: Ghost Rider, Damian Hellstrom/Son of Satan, Satana, Magik, more villains that you can shake a stick at. Then there are Loki, Enchantress, Odin, and a ton of other Asgardians. Does having a mystically-enchanted hammer (that can be lifted only by those worthy, can change it's owner's physical form, returns to its owner's hand after being thrown, can summon lightning storms, and open dimensional rifts) count as being a spell-caster? Not sure of how many fit the profile of the game mechanics you're looking for, as probably relatively few of them can be specifically categorized as "spell casters".

Yes, Thor's hammer is magical as are Enchantress and Loki not sure about the other Asgardians. Forgot about Hellstrom & Satanna but Ghost rider was on the list. And i wasn't sure if Magik had magical abilities or ones that mimiced magic (being a mutant and all).

    Thanks.

Micros aren't that hard to do. There's a few sites that have templates so it's almost a mix and match situation. A little tweeking and you've got your own hero. Lorraxx is an enviromentalist with spell casting abilities. Two guesses where the name came from .

Yes, I've seen these "micros" around all over the net. Not sure what the fascination is with the big head/little body thing, just as I could never understand the Japanese obsession with "SD" (Super Deformed) characters. Wish there were some quick'n'easy character-creation templates using standard-proportioned male and female bodies, but I just don't seem to see these around anywhere. Then again, I don't see the attraction of Kubricks and Mini-Mates, either. Couldn't even watch that Marvel Super Hero Squad cartoon (ditto for the newer DC Super Friends toys) because I just can't get past the look of it. Must be a generational thing. Or maybe I just have a low tolerance for "cute". Oddly enough though, I'm a big fan of Bat-Mite and Mega Man.

The reason I like them is I'm not an artist (by any stretch of the imagination) but now I can create pics of the characters I create for Champions, Heroscape etc. I finally know what, Gizmo, Legends et el look like. Sure I fiddle with existing characters (Lone Ranger, doc Savage etc.) but my own characters is the main thing. As I get better I go back and tweek them. I started out with existing Micros taht I tweeked and customized but now it's mostly my own stuff.

The MODOK micro must look interesting. So, no alternative character-creation template available, then? I take it you're stuck with the head size whether you like it or not.
