Right now, the books are pretty behind. We're taking a few months off to catch up. Trust me, it's frustrating taking the time off, but we want to do what's best for the books and the fans.
Hope you enjoy the issues as they come out. Kirby: Genesis #7 hits, I believe, at the end of this month.

My guess would be that the solicited stuff will continue to come out until such a time as new solicitations can actually be accurate.
If that's the case, is that the sort of thing that can actually be communicated in solicitations? Have a note at the beginning that says "Please note that due to unforseen circumstances..." Just so that people don't assume that it's absence is a worse deal than it actually is. It's very easy to come to the wrong conclusion.

The FOC up to 2nd May have been released. So we know only 2 KG books are out up to that date. So even a monthly release from now on would mean KG:CV #8 out in August and KG:SS out in July.
The only surprise is no further KG solicit for a number 9
It's been said a few times that Kirby: Genesis was going to be 8 issues, or at least Kurt was going to scribe those 8 issues, I suppose someone could take over after he leaves but I'm not sure if 8 issues was what the series was slated for.
For some reason I thought It had been extended from 8 to 12, but I just found this tweet from Kurt
so 8 Issues it is.Another great job on KIRBY GENESIS 7 by @j4ckherbert and @SimonBowland! One more to go!
