Why did Butcher go after Vas? Were there not enough other living supes, and bad ones at that, to occupy him for the better part of a year? Or has he already killed off everyone else, leaving only a few stragglers like Annie and perhaps The Deep?

Looking at the last preview panel, Hughie looking up at his building...is there a big chunk missing from the left face of the building? I wonder if that has something to do with why Butcher is on a killing mission?

Well spotted, though I'm not convinced yet it isn't just shadow...
Well, on the last page Hughie looks oblivious, as usual. Too late in the book for him to break form, I suppose. I guess while supes are dying all over the world at the hands of Butcher, Hughie is likely catching up on some fave TV shows and squeezing in some good naps.
I could be wrong, of course.
After reading the issue, Hughie is nothing if not consistent. What will he do for the next three months without those photos of Maeve?
Did I count FOUR wall-of-text pages offering absolutely NO new information to longtime readers? Fantastic. What an issue. Would read again.
