Read it and liked it quite a bit. It's not my "dream team" of DE characters meeting up here but it's a nice start and if this does well I'm sure we'll see more crossovers and events in the future.
Opinions?
Red Sonja/Vampirella probably would have been a more accurate title, and people who buy those books will also want to buy this. Not sure if it's really the mega-event crossover thingy comparable to what the Big 2 do that it was hyped as.
Did they ever explain if this was crossing universes or just sort of assuming them to be in the same universe but separated by time? (Of course, I'm one of those "But Sonja met Spider-Man twice, and Kulan Gath fought the X-Men, and the X-Men fought Dracula, but is this the same Dracula, and does this mean Vampirella is in the Marvel Universe?" and so on people...)
and star trek crossedover with x-men, and doctor who . . . dont think to hard, you will eventually make it back to St. Elsewhere and realize everything in fiction occurs in the mind of an autistic boy :P I am dead serious O _ O
crossovers shouldnt be taken too seriously because of this (also the st. elsehere crossover was clearly the result of hte boy imagining a character he saw on TV in his little world, but STILL)
I am a bit confused as to how Dynamite can use the Kulan Gath character, but I am just going to assume that Dynamite has a good relationship with marvel comics and they worked out a deal . . .
I didnt know who he was though when I read prophecy, all I could think about was the fact that Kulan . . . is a barsoomian name, specifically he shares his first name with the Jeddack of Kaol . . . Kulan Tith . . . who is a good guy
so the guys name really confused me > _ >
So... do they say? Or does it seem to be "just sort of assuming them to be in the same universe but separated by time"?
I think both . . . yes and no, it isnt really clear . . . some of it seems to be seperated by time, there is also talk of being from another "realm"
i am going to assume that these seperate series dont take place in the same universe, but that the prophecy is in a universe where they do!
Ah, thank you. Keeping it vague may not be a horrible thing, actually.
uh oh . . . this just got a whole lot worse . . . now it can be linked too scooby doo, space ghost and a myriad of other things . . . this isnt good D:
