Well, personally I think McCrea's a fookang geni-arse, and whilst I have been sorely missing Darick's interiors for most of the series, 'ol John does a bang up job - he's got a serious knack for humour and character, and that's pretty important in funnybooks. I thought his art in 65 added some great layers to the reading experience, didn't detract from it in the slightest.
On a side note, I've recently discovered Hitman (currently reading book 3) in order to fill the Ennis/Boys shaped hole in my life, and I must say I'm loving it! Possibly my favourite aspect of it is how Ennis deals with and exploits the limitations of it being an all ages title. That, and McCrea's work really sings on this title!
