Grant Morrison M.B.E!
It's been reported that Grant Morrison is to be awarded the M.B.E (Member of the British Empire) for services to film and literature by the Queen in the new Honours list. A bit of a surprise, given that Grant has mostly worked for American publishers for the last twenty years or so, and when he was working regularly in British comics he caused controversy with both The New Adventures of Hitler and St. Swithin's Day (the latter being a semi-autobiographical story about a guy plotting to kill Mrs Thatcher). Then again, Her Majesty and the 'Iron Lady' didn't really get on, so perhaps that has something to do with it...
