    Default converting PDF files

Does anyone know of a free program to convert PDF files over to Word? I'm doing a project for my D&D group and don't really want to pay the $20 for what would basically be a one time thing. Any sugesstions would be apreciated.

The free trial won't download and the online version only does small pdfs. It was a good try though, thanks.

    Default D&D 3.5

The reason for the above post is that I am attempting to put together a comprhensive list of D&D 3.5 Spells and an Ultimate 3.3 Spell Book.

I have most of the 3.5 books in PDF format and it would be easier to convert the PDFs than cut and paste in the case of the 2 larger speel books.

What I don't have in PDF are:

    Cityscape
    Denizens of Dread (Ravenloft setting)
    Dungeon Survival Guide
    Fiendish Codex 1
    Players’ Handbook 2 (more spells?)
Sandstorm: Mastering the Perils of Fire and Sand
    Secrets of Sarlona (more spells?)
Shadowdale: The Scouring Of The Land
Book Of Fiends 1: Legions of Hell
    World’s Largest City

Any help would be appreciated. I'll make the files available to those interested when (if?) completed.

You could try CaLibre (free), but be aware that converting PDFs to other formats is problematic. Read more here.

Maybe there's some kind of workaround, like printing the PDF pages and then scanning them back in with an OCR program. More work than directly converting the files, but you get what you pay for.
