I remember the Tarzan,LR, and Zorro stuff from the eighties but searching IMDB there seems to have been an animated series from the 60's also. Has anybody seen it since there were only two reviews of it.

There was an animated series on telly here when I was little, but whether it was actually from the 80's or the 60's I have no idea...![]()

Aussie Aussie Aussie! Oi Oi Oi!
I haven't seen it, but from what I hear the '60s series was so bad that George Trendle complained about it.
The opening sequence is on YouTube somewhere. That looks fine. I haven't seen any of the episodes, though. I hear it was the Lone Ranger vs. Super-Villains ala 'Wild, Wild West,' which was popular on TV around that time.
the youtube thing was the one from the eighties and Imdb claims Trendle was a writer for the show. I've heard about the Wild Wild West style animation. Wouldn't a West and Gordon cameo be cool in the comic?
Both intros are on there - here you go -
