Hello All, I hope everyone is well. I am new to the board and this is my first post. I was actually looking on line for some Lone Ranger DVD info and realized that I had been ignoring some info I had heard about there being a Lone Ranger comic. I was a big fan as a child and teen and then it somehow went by the wayside. I just discovered this site and thought that someone here (judging by the informative and great posts) would be able to help me with my question.
I had been looking on Amazon at the LR DVDs and the descriptions don't really help me too much. I want to start with the first Clayton Moore episodes and work my way forward. Is there a site I can check this out at or could someone get me started? I want to consider quality of DVD transfer and encompassing episode content. Where would be a good place to start? Any info would be great.
Like I said I haven't collected any LR stuff in quite some time and I am very excited to get my issue 1 & 2 in the mail (off of E-bay). and I put LR on my pull list at my comic shop. I have read some posts and the question of the comic being too "gritty" seems to be a topic of interest. I like the idea of different levels of characters. I have collected comics my whole life and I love the fact that you can have the same character in different lines of comics for different ages, i.e., Spider-man. I haven't read the new LR, so I know my point doesn't really mean much but I like the idea.
Anyway, I look forward to exploring this new site (to me). Thanks for all your great posts!
Eric
