  • Sonja v Xena

OK - lets get down to brass tacks.

Sonja and Xena are having a fight. No-one else is involved. They are on neutral ground (neither has their name on the comic's title page).

Both are in peak condition. Both are utterly determined.

Neither decides that they have made a mistake. Neither decides that the greater good will be served by them "accidentally" slipping.

The fight is not necessarily to the death, but the loser must be unambiguously defeated.

Who wins? A draw is NOT an option.

To avoid bias, I'm posting this poll in the Xena thread, too.
    25
    Sonja
    72.00%
    18
    Xena
    28.00%

i adore Xena, but Sonja doesn't have some of the weaknesses Xena does. like her sidekick. poor gabby gets used a lot to get to xena. with sonja it's just her so it is easier to fight all or nothing. even in a one on one fight i'd still say sonja.

Xena's greater skill would easily overpower Sonja. A quick pinch to the neck, and it's lights out for Sonja.

The golden rays of High Noon Sun reflecting from Sonja´s bikini top would blind Xena; a quick hack-slash and it´s bye-bye Warrior Princess.

Gotta be Sonja. Red-haired. Tough. The equal of Conan.

Xena, though, is brunette (no fiery reputation for the brown-haired). Flies through the air when propelled by wires. The equal of Bruce Campbell.

                  No contest.

By that logic, you are suggesting that, the king himself, Bruce Campbell could not defeat Sonja!? Beg to differ!

Well, that's enough time for voting, I think; and even taking into account the mirror-image poll on the other woman's site, I think the general opinion round here is pretty clear.

This is what would happen if Xena ever took on Sonja.

                            Looks like Xena to me.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong vis a vis the http-address thingy, and why I can't get the picture to show here? Technology - I'd've been happier in the stone age; or less confused, anyway.
