April 20, 2006, Runnemede NJ – Dynamite Entertainment releases a preview of ARMY OF DARKNESS #6, which continues the fan-favorite “Old School” story line. The issue is due in stores on April 26, 2006.

The solicitation copy for ARMY OF DARKNESS #6 (DEC052943) by James Kuhoric & Kevin Sharpe reads: Ash is trapped in the old cabin and must sever the Deadite spirit anchor before the twisted creatures inhabiting the hovel feast on his soul. Somewhere in the darkest corner of the ghastly fruit cellar the long buried secret waits for him while the spirit responsible for the horrors unleashed in the woods bides its time for a chance at the Chosen One and its own unworthy salvation. It’s a return to “Rami-esque” storytelling as Army of Darkness goes “Old School” and revisits its roots in this tribute to grueling horror storytelling. This issue ships with four covers by Nick Bradshaw, newcomer Jamie Biggs, Kevin Sharpe, and Fabio Laguna shipping in an equal ratio. “

A SKETCH EDITION (DEC052944) of AOD #6 is also available, please consult with your local retailer about availability

But can a strange sexy cursed girl with an infamous bloodline find a way to cure him before she is forced to turn her shapely silver swords on the Chosen One? Trapped in time, betrayed by allies, and looking for the nearest fire hydrant, our canine hero must ditch his new Lon Chaney Jr. persona and get back to the present to stop Dracula and his undead cronies from draining New York like a drunken bum at an honor bar.
