New Lone Ranger 1938 Serial DVD

The Serial Squadron, who restored the second serial, "The Lone Ranger Rides Again," a while back, have now released a restored version of the original Lone Ranger serial. This serial does not have the pasteover technique used to eliminate the Spanish subtitles from TLRRA. It was created from a subtitle-free source. This is the first filmed Lone Ranger adventure and the first time he was given an origin story. While it is not the "official" origin story, several elements were lifted from this serial for the "official" version. This serial has been referred to by serial fans as "the greatest serial of all time."

Agreed

It ranks up there that's for sure. Tho only one that I can think of that might be better is the Captain marvel serial which is often refered to as what the superman serial should have been.
