  • Definitive Edition

I picked up the Lone Ranger Definitive Edition (even though I own the individual issues AND the hardcover trades) and it is BEAUTIFUL!

I love the Lone Ranger series and hope they come out with a Lone Ranger definitive edition volume 2.

The Phantom (previously MikeM but I can't seem to post from that account anymore and all requests for assistance have gone unanswered )

Mikey! You were the most active person on the DE boards. That's bites the ol' (silver) bullet.

      YAY! I'm back!
I think you are thinking of MadMikeyD.

      Big thanks to Comxfan1980!

So right you are. Sorry for the confusion.

Always confusion between the Mikes, Mikeys, mds, whatever. It's just like when I talk to my sons. All their names start with A and I almost always say the wrong one.

Glad to hear the Definitive Edition has finally been released. Nice that people can read the story with the #0 issue in it. Is there any other bonus material not available in the other versions?

10 facts about the Definitive Edition:
            1. It is huge.
            2. Comes in a slip case.
            3. On the back of the slip case is issue 7's cover (a&b).
            4. Starts with an introduction by Brett Matthews.
            5. Contains issues 1 - 11 and issue 0
            6. Contains pin-ups of the alternate covers and a black and white version of all of John Casaday's covers of issue 1 to 11
            7. Contains sketches and pencils by Sergio Cariello such as his first attempt to draw the Lone Ranger (which I think looks totally bad ass), as well as other drafts of the Lone Ranger as well as Tonto. Some rough drafts of some page layouts and some some drafts of the other characters.
            8. A page of charcter designs by John Casaday.
            9. Issue One Script with commentary by Brett Matthews.
            10. The cover of the actual book is black with the title in Silver.

Yeah, I guess that should have been one of the facts.
                It was 75.00 US.
