Have any theories on why all supes are hedonistic psychopaths (excluding Annie and Super Duper)? Its just the one thing that I cant figure out.

The question is why, with this worldview, a few of the supes are neither hedonistic, nor fundamentally cunty.

I suspect Ennis changed his mind about Starlight's character since the blowjob episode. Back then, she was a joke, a victim, but the character has developed nicely since. As a reader, I care about Annie, though she was initially quite boring.
