If she didn't dress like that, what would be the point?

Why do people feel the need to try to apply real world logic to every character? Just read the bloody thing or don't, but don't try to tear it apart...

Exactly. Even in trying to be funny, the amount of scrutiny that went into that shows that some people take this stuff way too seriously.

This probably wasn't appropriate OR practical back in the day either.

But then, probably very few men wore blue tights with the underwear outside in the 30's too. I can't say. I wasn't there.

And I can see why, but he (I assume) gets a little serious with his conclusion. Makes me think that he (I assume) was really trying to make a point.

Along those lines, have you ever seen the art some women did of what male superheroes would look like if their uniforms were designed like women's? I'll see if I can find some of that for those who ma not have seen it.

There is another one, too: The Hawkeye Initiative.

"How to fix every Strong Female Character pose in superhero comics: replace the character with Hawkeye doing the same thing."
(I wish they'd picked Wolverine or Hercules or someone more my taste, alas.)

Well, I call it the Heroine Boner Advantage: The seconds the villain needs to get his eye off the goodies might be the seconds needed to win the fight. Vampirella is the expert
(BTW, while we're at Legends of the Wild West, did you ever hear about the gunfight between quantum physicists Niels Bohr and George Gamov?)
