    Maybe.

Last I heard he was denying it, and I don't think it's gone to trial / proven yet.
In the meantime, we don't know what the complete story is. (Hell, someone could have hacked his system and could be doing things with his computer that he wasn't aware was happening, especially if those things are done when he himself is not actively using the computer but it's still on-line.)

I hope it all turns out to be some terrible mistake, but whatever the case, the damage is already done. Even if he did all the things he's currently being accused of, it will not change my opinion of his work.
Since I'm not an optimist in this case, I recently bought the whole series on ebay and plan to custom bind it. No more nagging about reprints from me

Uh huh. And according to the article, he was uploading child porn videos to YouTube. YOUTUBE?! Something about that doesn't parse, right there.

Honestly, I feel the same way. Some struggle to separate the two and suggest that you're a terrible person unless you boycott him altogether but I don't like that point of view. The court of social media is often far too quick to come to a judgement.

I hated the Orson Scott Card thing from a few years ago. I don't agree with him but those that suggest he shouldn't be able to earn a living because of his views is a little much and not exactly I tune with the tolerance that they demand.

Same with Ron Fortier. Strong views on display on his Facebook page but I can enjoy his writing nonetheless.
