I'm looking for a complete chronology of her stories. I believe the new Dynamite Entertainment series takes place after the old Marvel joints, but where do the one shots fall as well as the 6 novels?

    Hmm, thats a tough one.

It sure would be interesting to see.

Kinda like Conan over the years, the stories jump all over his history from youth to King.

I am assuming its the same here, but what would an *old" Sonja look like?

In most cases, If a character appears in more than one medium-i.e. TV,books, comics- each is considered a seperate "reality" because it would be next to impossiable to keep track of all the different stories. Take all the Star Trek material for example. There's so much written material, TV and Movies that they only count the stories on film- TV episodes and the movies as "offical"- and then in some cases, like the animated series, they still squabble over whteher it's offical or not.
In the case of Sonja, since the books have never been adapted into the comics medium, I would think they are a seperate reality apart from the comics. and I'm starting to get the impression that the old Marvel series and the new Dynamite series are being taken as seperate realities as well- especially since there hasn't been anything so far in the new series tying it to the old one.

what about chronicling the Dynamite series with all the one shots and the mini series with Thulsa Doom included?

Well I just bought most of the Marvel Red Sonja run of the 80's and they have Sonja shedding her bikini for regular attire (that subject is for anther thread) so IMO I'd put this run before the Thomas/Thorne books.
