  • Jim Steranko Supergirls Calander

I was wondering if any of the other old timers remember Steranko's Supergirls calander from 1973? It was great but of a bit of a shock to a then 15 year old. Semi nude and very revealing drawings of 12 Super Heroines. Most were female versions of standard heroes but one was an original creation (I think). Some one mentioned the calander and I did a little research

    Vertigo (original) January
    Black Cat February
    Blonde Phantom April
Green Hornet May Almost a compination of The Hornet & Zorro
    Captain America July
    Sheena September
    Batman October
    Phantom November

    Green Lantern
    Robin Hood
    Superman
    Uncle Sam

I'm not sure about Captain America being July. Can anyone fill in the missing months.

A bit pricey for me, but there is a picture of one the girls, probably Vertigo.

That's Vertigo all right and rather expensive. There are a few places that have different months available. It was a bit of a shock to a young teenager who mhas not expecting a it. A shock but rather interesting
