The link doesn't work, but other then that, it sounds good. I really like what Wagner did with Zorro even though I had to drop it for money reasons. Is there any hints if it's a 40s piece or the first year of the 'new GH'. With Wagner I'd put my money on a 40's thing.

Checked a little further and found the page. No more news.

Sorry about the link....at the office I tend to rush...

Wagner can do no wrong with me, he can give it a year 2525 feel for all I care...just NO Kevin Smith...

I'm not sure I'm gonna be able to keep up with DE releases...got PSP 2 #0 last week...7 covers.

Does this mean, Wagner is off Zorro??

I'm sure Wagner can do both Zorro and a Green Hornet mini. My understanding is that Green Hornet will be several minis, with Kevin Smith writing one based on his unmade film and Wagner writing this "Year One" project. I wonder if they will follow NOW Comics' Reid lineage - Britt I ('40s), Britt II ('60s), Alan ('90s), and Paul ('90s) - or if they will create a new one.

              Wagner's Green Hornet: Year One

Check out the Ross Version of the Cover for issue 1. The Green Hornet's mask looks very much like the movie serial mask.

Thats an amazing looking cover, I am really looking forward to this title to come out so I can lean more about this iconic character, I have yet to be formally introduced to Green Hornet. I will have my chance soon! I am really liking how everything is looking so far, the creative team looks tight and I know GH has a lot of eager fans waiting to get their hands on this, it could be huge for DE.

                    Dynamite's Batman?

You can stare at the other covers for Hornet: Year one here at newsarama.

Looking at these April solicits, they're really not playing around with this Green Hornet push.

Hornet: Year One, Green Hornet ("the movie") and a Kato ongoing series? It looks like Dynamite has ultimate confidence that this character will catch fire in 2010. Green Hornet fans have got to be salivating.

It's been said that Red Sonja is Dynamite's flagship character, like "Spider-Man" and "Superman" are for Marvel and DC. Will Green Hornet be Dynamite's Batman?

                      The afore mentions serial

Thought I'd post this for everybody to see. It's an add for the original serial (there were 2). Real close isn't it. Note that Kato's wearing a mask more like the TV show than the goggles from the serial.

I agree. The classic heroes have become very popular of late, and there are few more classic than the Green Hornet!

Now that's what I call the real deal, the original Green Hornet Year One, that's a sure purchase for me in hardcover edition. Not interested in any other versions of the same name, and I love the face mask

                            Also these cover looks nice

Probably a 100 times better than that Year One Million Whatever Knock off anyway
