  • Green Hornet & Lone Ranger on the radio

http://www.radiospirits.com/ just released a new set of the Green Hornet and the Lone Ranger. I know most people aren't into this sort of stuff but It is interesting to get a 'look' at the source material.

I would enjoy stuff like this, but I wish they released smaller sets that weren't quite as expensive for older radio programs I'm not familiar with. I might take a chance on something that costs maybe $5.00 or $10.00, but I feel guilty when it comes to spending $30.00 or $40.00 on something I really don't know.

I use to love it when they had sets of various old-time radio programs on cassette tapes (yeah, that was a while ago!) at places like Barnes & Noble. They were great for listening to when I was driving at night for about an hour or so.

I use to sell MP3 CDs of Old Radio Shows. Anybody interested in them I'll make copies at cost (about $1), but most of them are available free at https://archive.org/details/oldtimeradio. The Lone Ranger, Green Hornet and Shadow among a few others are the exception as they are still copyright protected. I have 10 LR disks, 6 GH and 3 Shadow disks Most run 50 or so shows a disk but that depends on the coding.

Also check out The Red Panda at http://decoderringtheatre.com/shows/...da-adventures/ It's a fun tongue in cheek super hero show.
