Warner Bros. Blind Bags Kickstarter Reveals Ken Haeser Exclusives - One of Eight Guaranteed in Every Bag! |
The Warner Bros. blind bags have been a blast on Kickstarter so far, with a bunch of fans pledging their support and locking in their mystery collectibles so far! If you haven't joined the party yet yourself, head over to the campaign now and lock in! We have some exciting reveals we're going to be sharing over the next several days too!
As announced, each and every bag at the base level for this exciting campaign includes five fabulous items. In addition to one metal or holofoil variant, a stamped and signed buy-back issue, a blank variant with the chance of it being a one-of-one sketched cover, and a rare Supernatural #1 ashcan, a key star of the show are the eight brand-new variant covers drawn by fan-favorite artist Ken Haeser just for these bags! Today we are revealing two of them in this email, with more to come over the next several days. If you want to jump ahead and check them all out, we've actually revealed more at the Kickstarter itself, all the more reason to head over and pledge now!
Do you recognize the comic book classics that Haeser is homaging with these two covers featuring the ThunderCats and the Space Ghost squad? The former is a take on the legendary Justice League #1 cover from Kevin Maguire, the beginning of one of the most beloved eras and one of the most frequently homaged images in comics history. The cover will be on issue #21 of the flagship ThunderCats series written by Declan Shalvey, a pivotal point in the ongoing epic. Then Space Ghost #6 features Haeser's spin on Infinity Gauntlet #1 by George Perez, the kickoff to one of the biggest crossover event epics of the superhero genre, which fans now know as well thanks to its translation to the silver screen.
