Award winning writer Chuck Brown (Bitter Root, Aquamen) is chronicling the next adventure of John Carter this April in a new series - John Carter of Mars.
The year is 1919. A mysterious asteroid composed purely of the substance "Ninth" hurtles toward Earth. Its power miraculously begins to meld and swap the peoples of Earth and Mars. The Warlord of Mars and former Civil War soldier John Carter suddenly finds himself ripped from everything he has come to know and love, pulled back to where he started. One day he's back in Virginia, but battling Martian apes in his homeland! Then what could possibly be happening back on Barsoom? And as these two worlds deal with this chaos, could their struggles collide?
"I’ve always been a huge fan of sci-fi and adventure," said writer Chuck Brown. "Like many of us, as a kid I was obsessed with Mars and the other planets in our solar system. Barsoom has such amazing characters and backstories. So it’s a huge opportunity for George and I to play in this world."
Dynamic illustrator George Kambadais (Firefly) joins Brown in Dynamite's next arc in the saga of Edgar Rice Burroughs' world-famous hero. Kambadais will also be coloring himself. Fans can see his character designs below, with fun alternate backgrounds for Earth and Mars.
John Carter and his mythos were created in the early 20th century, yet the character is pulled from the Civil War era. Jennifer Blood has survived one of her deadliest battles against organized crime yet, and starting this March with issue #6, the "Blood Debt" is due.
The Garth Ennis-created Jennifer Blood is a fan-favorite antiheroine with a mission to crack down on organized crime by any means necessary, and a secret identity unlike any other. In her latest return to comic book shelves, writer Fred Van Lente (Die!namite, Incredible Hercules
) and artist Vincenzo Federici have led the character through a thrilling bloodbath of a critically acclaimed first arc. In the first five issues, she battled against undercover mob bosses in the town of Bountiful, as well as another hitwoman nemesis that could match her abilities.
Starting with issue #6 this March, Jennifer finds herself limping into a secret health clinic specializing in serving criminals. The head surgeon is surprised to find one of the most wanted women in the underground laying sedated on his operating table. But another experienced, yet terminally ill hitman has other plans for Blood. He's written up a bucket list of all kinds of gangsters and crooks who have wronged him through the years. Jennifer Blood is the perfect accomplice in checking off the list, as this unlikely pair careen toward a final showdown in the city of sin, Las Vegas.
"I love the character and have so many more Jennifer Blood stories I'd love to tell," said writer Fred Van Lente. "Vincenzo and I are just going to try and keep topping ourselves to be the best damn crime comic on the shelves."

Bettie Page is back this March in a brand new adventure investigating invaders from outer space!
In Bettie's previous Dynamite tales, the queen of the pinups has taken on all kinds of surprising escapades via her only now declassified status as a special agent of the government. She's dealt with murder mysteries, werewolves, even Cthulhu-like beings. In her latest special one-shot she even tangled with Bigfoot. But now she's traveling to Roswell, New Mexico and around the world, meeting some classic grey aliens.
Fan-favorite writer, cosplayer, and PreviewsWorld host Ani-Mia returns for an extended take on the dark angel. She's joined by artist Celor (Hack/Slash, KISS), colorist Fara Nurmaliza, and letterer Carlos Mangual. Mia is a passionate devotee of cryptids and conspiracies, so this is a project with a fun touch for her.
"I'm thrilled to have had the opportunity to not only write a Bettie Page series, but to bring some of my personal passions to the page," shared writer Ani-Mia. "The paranormal and the strange have always fascinated me, so bringing aliens to the world of Bettie Page was a given; but the real fun was making her adventure reminiscent of some of my favorite adventure movies growing up like, The Mummy and Indiana Jones."
Similar to those famous adventurers, Bettie will be trekking across the globe with her two new companions, investigating countless clues left behind by the aliens. Fans will get to journey along with her to the ruins of Ancient Greece, booby-trapped Egyptian tombs, and the deadly Aztec temples hidden within the rainforest. When she finally pieces it all together, will it spell the demise of ...

Though it seems far away, Valentine's Day is right around the corner. In 2022, Vampirella and Red Sonja are observing the occasion in their own special one-shot titles. A range of talented creators, including breakout cover artist Sozomaika, are set to tell lovestruck and romantic tales of two of Dynamite's biggest stars.
Artist Sozomaika is beloved for her artwork on social media, of comics, anime, and video game characters alike, and at conventions. Dynamite is proud to have noticed her brilliant work via a gorgeous Vampirella illustration, and is among the first publishers working with her to bring her unique style to a broader base of fans. Each Valentine's Special features a stunning Sozomaika take on the two powerful and beautiful heroines. Superstar Lesley "Leirix" Li also contributes a cover to each, and model Rachel Hollon swaps her outfit for the pair of cosplay covers.
Rising writer Chuck Brown, of the Eisner-nominated hit Bitter Root
, leads the charge on Red Sonja's romantic escapades. In a magical land far from Hyrkania, she's temporarily developed supernatural abilities to manipulate fire. In "Burning Love," she must venture into this land where powerful warlords possess ice powers, and one among them has literally exchanged their heart and soul for power. Can Sonja take down this formidable force?
Love is no easy emotion and drive to navigate as a mere mortal. Let alone as a superpowered, alien, vampire woman such as Vampirella of Drakulon. Fans will join writer and colorist Dearbhla Kelly, among others, this February for a trek through love, hate, and their complicated combinations, in Vampi's Valentine's Special.

Draculina is coming, the next can't-miss chapter in Christopher Priest's acclaimed expansion of the Vampirella mythos, starring the icon's sister.
With her appearance following right after her sister Vampirella with the second issue of the original magazine, Draculina has appeared in sporadic, yet memorable roles since through the years. That all changes this February, as critically acclaimed and history making writer Christopher Priest (Black Panther, Deathstroke) and franchise favorite Michael Sta. Maria (Vengeance of Vampirella) spin her off into her own series that fans of the franchise and newcomers alike will not want to pass up.
"The book is about one child and two destinies," said writer Christopher Priest. "It is a metaphor for life: the road not traveled. Every day each of us make choices that lead to varying consequences which affect our reality. That is what we are seeing here: Lilith’s choices splitting reality and the consequences that brings."
As seen in Priest's Vampirella and Sacred Six sagas, now also continued in Vampirella/Dracula: Unholy, the original Draculina was a surprise reveal for longtime readers. Now she finds herself "attached" to the new character of homeless, preteen vamp-groupie Katie, with their souls linked a la a twisted Shazam. With her new presence on Earth, Draculina is going by the alias "River East" and playing the part of a high-profile socialite celebrity. All while her machinations of an evil agenda of retribution near its kickoff.
Will these two unique and headstrong women, one young and one much, much older, be able to both survive through Draculina's devilish plans, and will their connection reveal truths to each other?
Priest and Sta. Maria are joined by colorist Ivan Nunes and ...
