Red Sonja's Legacy Celebrated With Best Of Anthology Volume!
Five Decades & Over 350 Pages of Classic Stories!

July 18, Mt. Laurel, NJ:
Red Sonja is celebrating 50 fantastic years, and Dynamite is celebrating her native medium of comic books with a special anniversary anthology compiling some of the biggest moments and standout gems from her history! The Best of Red Sonja is a hardcover volume packed to the brim at over 360 pages. It's an indispensable part of a Red Sonja collection moving forward, the perfect opportunity to revisit her greatest tales, or sample them for the first time as a new fan!

From her earliest appearances on her own in Marvel Feature, to her first solo series with gorgeous Frank Thorne artwork, to the beginnings of the Dynamite era, epics by Gail Simone, Amy Chu, Mark Russell, origin stories, one-off specials, and more, it's all accounted for here!

The creative names within the book are unparalleled, and it doesn't even focus particularly on the incredible covers through the years, which Dynamite has covered extensively in other art books in print. Writers and artists included range from Gail Simone, Roy Thomas, Mike Carey, Amy Chu, Mark Russell, Walter Geovani, Michael Avon Oeming, Frank Cho, Luke Lieberman, Mel Rubi, Esteban Maroto, and more.

It's all encased in one of the most memorable covers contributed by superstar Jenny Frison during the Gail Simone era.

The book is tentatively set to feature insightful introductions and other materials. A list of contents are below, but subject to finalization for publication.
