July 20, Mt. Laurel, NJ: It has been almost exactly eight years since Dynamite brought a new take on Red Sonja by superstar writer Gail Simone and Walter Geovani to fans. Now, as the pair finish a return tale to the character, their fan-favorite run is being celebrated with a pair of limited edition variant covers by Walter!

Fans can order an exclusive special presentation reprinting the creative team's historic first issue - featuring the first appearance of Dark Annisia and more, rumored to be in the upcoming blockbuster film that Gail is consulting on. Walter will be drawing two original covers for fans to choose from or bundle. One is set to be an homage to the Frank Thorne era of the character, which influenced Gail's portrayal and celebrates the nearly 50 year legacy beyond this creative team. The other cover will be a tribute to Gail and Walter's run, showcasing Sonja among the cast of colorful characters like Annisia, Rat, Aneva, Osric, Halayah, and Ayla.
Copies will be available signed by Gail, and add-ons options are set to include digital and physical graphic novels of the legendary run. Plus more to be revealed soon!
