An entire issue of Spider-Man is being offered for sale. The complete Amazing Spider-Man #11 by comic legends John Romita Jr. and Scott Hanna, will be available for sale. All of the original interior art will be available for purchase along with other work from the incredible pair of creators including various covers.
Romita is the son of legendary Spider-Man artist John Romita Sr. and has been a mainstay at Marvel Comics for the majority of his career. Along with the Wall-Crawler, he has worked on everything from Avengers and Daredevil to Punisher and X-Men. His first work for the publisher was in a Spider-Man annual in 1977 in a six-page story called “Chaos at the Coffee Bean!” He would continue mainly working for Marvel, along with a few side projects, until 2014 when he moved over to DC Comics to work on their flagship title, Superman. After a few years at the competition, Romita would return back to Marvel in 2020 and return to the book he’s worked the most on, Amazing Spider-Man, with a relaunch in 2022 where this issue comes from. John Romita Jr. is one of the most incredible and influential artists of the last 40 plus years, and continues to be a master and best-selling creator.
Scott Hanna has been drawing and inking comic books for over 30 years. His work has been published in over 1,000 comics and graphic novels, and he’s inked over 22,000 pages of comics art. At Marvel Comics, Scott’s worked on all the top characters at the company, including the Avengers, Iron Man, X-Men, and Hulk. He’s most known for his more than 15 year run on the Spider-Man titles. At DC Comics, he has worked on most of their major titles, including a five-year run on Detective Comics plus Green Lantern Corps, Wonder Woman, Superman, and more. He and Romita have worked together countless times and have become an almost inseparable creative force in the industry.
Amazing Spider-Man #11 was written by Zeb Wells and features the return of Spider-Man arch-nemesis Norman Osboorn. This issue was billed as one of the biggest Spidey status quo changes in years. Don’t miss out on owning an original piece of history.
