Two Stunning Statues from Dynamite

Red Sonja & Linsner's Dawn Coming in May

February 15, Mt. Laurel, NJ: Dynamite Entertainment has some awesome announcements just in time for Toy Fair 2019!

Dynamite has two stunning statues for collectors and fans of high quality art being solicited for May. Sculptor Steve Kiwus and RVCKVS International created an incredible statue for Joseph Michael Linsner's iconic Dawn. This statue leaps off the comic book page. Amanda Conner and Jason Smith bring the She-Devil with a Sword, Red Sonja, in a rare black and white artist proof edition.

Dawn was created by Joseph Michael Linsner in 1989 for an anthology series. Fans were instantly drawn to her unique captivating design, all thanks to Linsner's one-of-a-kind style. Since then she has starred in five series and several other appearances, skyrocketing her creator's career alongside her. Dynamite has a long history working with Joseph Michael Linsner, collaborating on some of the best comic covers ever. In 2014 Linsner wrote and drew Dawn/Vampirella and right now his Vampirella: Roses for the Dead miniseries written by his wife Kristina Deak-Linsner is publishing.

The Dawn Artist Proof edition is the highest quality version of the statue and produced in limited quantities. Fans should act fast to reserve their copy.

The Red Sonja by Amanda Conner Black & White Artist Proof Edition statue is an unparalleled piece for collectors and fans of the character. Conner has made a name for herself as one of the greatest comic book artists of all time and Dynamite in particular treasures her work on characters like Red Sonja and Vampirella. This statue brings her vision of the She-Devil with a Sword to three dimensions in high quality resin! Sculptor Jason Smith flawlessly translated the original cover artwork from Red Sonja: The Black Tower #1.

Only 99 copies of this special variant edition will be produced! The statue measures approximately 7.5" high and stands on a 3" wide base. Each one includes a numbered certificate of authenticity and ships in a full-color display box. Fans will not want to miss

"We have been able to build our reputation as a great producer of statues, busts and other items for collectors over the years, and these latest offerings are no exception! Fans should love the artistry on display with these pieces and hopefully want them on their shelves just like we do," said Nick Barrucci, CEO/Publisher of Dynamite Entertainment.

These Dynamite statues will be solicited in Diamond Comic Distributors’ March 2019 Previews catalog, the premier source of merchandise for the comic book specialty market, and slated for release in May 2019. Fans are encouraged to preorder with their local comic book retailers.
