Disney Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas
Comic Series Now Available in Collections! |
May 21, Mt. Laurel, NJ: This summer, as the Halloween season approaches, Dynamite Entertainment announces the forthcoming collected editions of the latest comic book series inspired by Disney Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas.
All four issues of The Shiver of Christmas Town by writer Torunn Grønbekk (Red Sonja, Thor) and artist Edu Menna (Army of Darkness), are collected for readers in paperback and hardcover formats. Both editions feature beautiful, haunting covers by superstar Jae Lee, with Jack featured on the paperback and Sally on the hardcover.
This unforgettable saga of tales features the likes of Sally, the mischievous trio Lock, Shock, and Barrel, an adorable new pet created by Dr. Finkelstein, and even a special cameo by Jack Skellington! Halloween Town's three resident trick-or-treaters embark on a journey to Christmas Town, and the new creature stows along, as everything goes awry.
Following the success of Long Live the Pumpkin Queen: The Graphic Novel, which brought the best-selling story to life in comics form, The Shiver of Christmas Town continues Dynamite’s collaboration with Disney in expanding the beloved world of The Nightmare Before Christmas.
