Demona Returns in Gargoyles #7!
Jumping-On Point Brings Back Greatest Enemy & Former Ally!

April 4, Mt. Laurel, NJ:
Dynamite's Disney titles have gotten off to an exciting start, with multiple fan-favorite and bestselling titles off the ground, with multiple fan-favorite and bestselling titles off the ground, and more to come. It all started with the smash hit Gargoyles, and now this June that series is leveling up even more. The story that fans have all been waiting for is here at last, with the anticipated return of Demona!

Creator and writer Greg Weisman teases the story with, "Demona brings danger and intrigue to every story she's in. She's been off the Manhattan Clan's radar for months and months, but nothing will quite prepare them for what she has planned..."

Fans are able to and encouraged to jump right into the series with this issue, even if they haven't read the previous six, though they can ask their retailers for help catching up. For the Disney comics event of the summer, franchise creator Greg Weisman (Young Justice, Spectacular Spider-Man) and acclaimed artist George Kambadais are providing an approachable chapter that also ramps up the stakes! That said, longtime Gargoyles fans who have followed the show, the previous comics, and Dynamite's releases so far will find this new story incredibly satisfying!

Once upon a time over a thousand years ago, Demona was a member of the Gargoyle clan at Castle Wyvern in Scotland. She was even Goliath's beloved mate, and second in command among the clan. The two even have a daughter, Angela. Following strife within the clan, Demona separated and has through the years harbored an increasing hatred toward the humans the modern Manhattan Clan seeks to coexist with.

At last, she's back, and she's after three new keys to elevate her power. Not only that, but the clan's current nemesis, Dino Dracon, is already on the rampage - while Goliath is in prison and awaiting trial! Without their leader, will Brooklyn and the Manhattan Clan have any chance to stop Demona?

To celebrate this major turning point in the series and jumping-on point, Dynamite is featuring powerful depictions of Demona on almost every cover from the stylistically wide-ranging cast of heavy hitters who have wowed fans and collectors to date. Those include David Nakayama (X-Men), Amanda Conner (Harley Quinn), Lucio Parrillo, Lesley "Leirix" Li, Jae Lee, as well as duo Tony Fleecs and Trish Forstner.
