Red Sonja's Most Savage Adventures Come to NFTs

August 2 Mt. Laurel, NJ:
The She-Devil With a Sword, Red Sonja, has faced many a threat in her nearly 50 years of adventuring in comic books. Some tales stand above the rest for their drama, emotion, or their savagery. Now NFT collectors can check out one of her most vicious tales to date, with Savage Red Sonja: Queen of the Frozen Wastes coming to the innovative reading and collectible format.

This beloved story arc from 2006 is headlined by an all-star creative team up. Legendary creator Frank Cho is known for his stunningly beautiful yet kickass depictions of women characters and on titles like Hulk, Wolverine, Mighty Avengers, Jungle Girl and more. Co-writing with Cho is longtime writer Doug Murray, heralded for his work on The 'Nam for Marvel and his co-creation of fan-favorite Squirrel Girl. This was also the breakout performance by artist Homs, tackling the Hyborian Age for the first time. The four issue saga has Sonja heading to the frozen northern regions. There she will battle the beautiful and deadly Ice Queen and her army of yeti warriors. Can she survive to her next journey? Fans can find out by grabbing the full storyline in NFT form from Virtua now.
