 April 4, Mt. Laurel, NJ: Dynamite's latest collaboration with writer Cullen Bunn and artist Blacky Shepherd on REANIMATOR: THE ETERNAL LIE is coming to a close on Kickstarter in just a few days! Horror hounds of all manner should head on over to the campaign and make sure they don't miss out on this spooky thrill ride celebration of the works of H.P. Lovecraft.
Forewarned is forearmed, and fans can prepare for the end before the stars align and evil is reborn by securing their copy and then reading this special edition comic story by two maestros of the macabre. Previously working together on a comic series featuring the iconic monster Pumpkinhead, Cullen and Blacky turned their spotlight to Dr. Herbert West, the infamous mad scientist obsessed with defying the laws of life and death. First they pitted him against Vampirella, in a storyline now available as a graphic novel. Then the Eternal Lie saga began, clashing the character against other hallmarks of the Lovecraftian mythos, finally connecting him to the legendary Cthulhu concepts, the haunting town of Innsmouth, and more.
Fans can get the latest chapter of The Eternal Lie, catch up with the first one as well, and choose from or collect multiple fun variants. Blacky Shepherd has contributed a main cover featuring Dr. West, ones with Dynamite's beloved Vampirella and Lady Demon, and collaborations with YouTubers Rockin' Robbie of the Pop Culture Philosophers and Sasha of Casually Comics. More awesome add-ons and options are available too on the campaign.
As the clock ticks toward the finale, Cullen, Blacky, and Dynamite are also announcing a stretch goal to reach toward. When the campaign hits $11,111, all physical backers will additionally be receiving a sweet promo trading card of Blacky's Reanimator cover line art!
