NEW STORYLINE KICKS OFF IN THE BOYS #44!

Another exciting issue of Dynamite's hit series The Boys hits stores in July!

April 28, 2010 - Runnemede, NJ - One of Dynamite Entertainment's flagship titles, The Boys, continues its incredible march through comic book history with issue #44 coming this July.  In issue #44, begins part one of the four-part Believe: as the greatest religious festival on the superhero calendar gets under way in New York, the Homelander finds himself front and center, very much against his will. But so does Annie, whose heightened public profile leads her to get something terrible off her chest. Meanwhile, Butcher ponders what to do about "the Hughie situation", and MM makes his own feelings known... just when everything was going so well...

The Boys - written by Garth Ennis and illustrated by Darick Robertson - is counting down to its ultimate conclusion.  The series is set in a contemporary world very much similar to the real one, with one notable exception: a number of people have some form of superpower. The series follows a superpowered CIA squad, known informally as "The Boys", whose job it is to keep watch on superheroes and, if necessary, intimidate or kill them.  Enjoy the continuing mad adventures of "The Boys" in The Boys #44 coming to stores this July!

"
#44 kicks off the four-part "Believe", which sees the Butcher-Hughie-Annie storyline coming to it's grim conclusion," says writer Garth Ennis.  "The Homelander finally takes his long-awaited step into the dark, as a huge religious festival takes over New York City. This one's drawn by my good friend Russ Braun, artist on The Night Witches and the forthcoming sequel, Motherland."
