Dynamite Makes History with New BSG Series! May 22, 2007, Runnemede, NJ - DYNAMITE ENTERTAINMENT today released images and information announcing the release of their all-new SCI-FI series NEW BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: SEASON ZERO. Dynamite's new Battlestar series made its debut in May with issue #0 as part of the Dynamite Free Comic Book Day Comic Flip Book (with all new story and art, and read by over 100,000 fans), and continues with the July release of New Battlestar Galactica #1. Dynamite's new Battlestar series will serve as a prequel to the hit SCI FI television show with a story that takes place two years prior to the television mini-series (2003) that re-imagined Battlestar Galactica. The new comic series, "Season Zero", is being written by Brandon (NBSG: Zarek) Jerwa with art by Stephen Segovia and new series artist Jackson Herbert, and will be available with covers by Stjepan Sejic, Adriano Batista, Stephen Segovia, and a photo cover.
