FIRST FAMILY FROM DYNAMITE & LIQUID!

First Family hits stores this October!

August 4, 2010, Runnemede, NJ - From Dynamite Entertainment and Liquid Comics comes First Family, a new graphic novel coming this October. Imagine Gossip Girl combined with the West Wing!

The teenage children of a newly elected American President navigate a place where power peddling, exerting influence and political maneuvering reign supreme - High School.

Nick Balder and his younger sister Lucy are the new kids at the exclusive and legendary Belmont Friends High School just across the Potomac in suburban Virginia. Like any teens plucked from their own comfortable surroundings, uprooted from their native community and high school full of loyal friends, and forced into a new school where entrenched clicks and social hierarchies exist, difficult challenges loom. But beyond that, Nick and Lucy's assimilation brings with it some special circumstances. They're new in town because their father James Balder has a new gig that demanded the move from their native suburban Michigan town to Washington D.C. The new gig is pretty prestigious - John Balder is the new President of the United States of America.
